Welcome to the workshop that captures it all: good, bad and ugly bits!

So we have all the other workshops furiously rehearsing and working away on the big show… but here’s where you come in. Every quality event needs capturing on film for folks to see right? Good, you’re on our wavelength.

Using some top nuts equipment and with tutors who love crazy ideas and are probably madder than you guys, you will learn all about the art of filming, importance of storyboarding, "crossing the line", two thirds rule and other such phrases that mean little to us mere mortals. However step into the Imagine Filming workshop and you will be party to all such fancy terms as well as getting the chance behind the camera, with clapperboards (we love the noise it makes!) booms as well as working with the presenters and other workshops to capture everyone’s moment in time.

Oh did we tell you that you will be producing a DVD of the whole project and event? Oh, well you are. One that everyone gets for keeps.

Like with all Imagine workshops, experience really doesn’t matter. We are here to help and show you whether you have years of experience or have never so much as turned a camera on. We all have to start somewhere.

It’s also a small workshop, deliberately, so you all get the chance to do your Quentin Tarantino bit – it’s only fair. Of course some of you will be the creative types whilst others will be more technical. All good we say because we need that mix of talent.

Don’t be fooled though, this isn’t a cop out workshop. Quite the opposite it’s a critical one. Critical because it captures the mood, the emotion, the visuals, the show, the fun and frustrations and captures what everyone has done! Yes, it’s that important.
