Imagine You Can singers

So you think you can sing? Good, we’d love to hear you!

Imagine aren’t about X Factor-style embarrassing auditions, (and there’s no Louis Walsh!) we make it a whole lot easier than that. Nor is it about performing in front of a panel of judges. It’s about you, on your own, singing any song of your choice, in front of just one other person! It really is that easy. Whether you are a budding Leona Lewis, Bono, Lady Gaga or "cool" of the Kings of Leon this is the funky, fun workshop for you.

Your workshop vocal tutors are pretty cool dudes and have bags of patience and most of all the ability to help you every step of the way. They will give you all the written lyrics, CD’s with backing tracks and everything you will need to succeed. You just need a smile and bags of energy!

Imagine You Can Singer

For every project around upto 20 singers are selected and coached both individually and as a team (we are all about team at Imagine!) into a variety of musical styles. We believe in being fair and for that reason rotate our lead singers and backing singers – yes you will all get a chance. It also doesn’t matter if you have any previous experience in singing or not! And most of all nobody is “better” or “more important” than anybody else in this workshop. Level playing field and fairness to your fellow singers is what we are about! All shows are "themed" ranging from Grease, Blues Brothers, High School Musical, Saturday Night Fever, Moulin Rouge, James Bond and a host of others all with show-style costumes.

Performers will also get the chance spend time with the choreographer and dance workshops to join-up the visual and audio aspects of the show – yes we really do go into detail. Where our projects take a real twist is that each and every performance at the sports stadiums and theatres are live. No recordings or miming; just live and direct.

What we do promise is that you will have the time of your life, make loads of new friends and have bags of fun.

But don’t just take our word for it.

Sajha, 13, Bradford:

"It was fun to sing with people I had never met before, I now have heaps of confidence"

And 15 year old Lucy:

"You gave me the confidence to apply for Performing Arts school and I’ve been accepted. I wouldn’t have applied before I did your project so thank you for making me realise I do have to talent and best of all it was soooo much fun."

So, whether you are nervous, confident, unsure about your voice or even dying to strut your stuff come along to our (very friendly!) open auditions. As it says on the tin… Imagine You Can
